Creating research partnerships to accelerate ideas to market
OniX's goal is to create partnerships to advance research. The OniX platform serves as the hub where global ideas can be shared in a more open and safer ecosystem. The goal is to advance ideas faster to facilitate their translation and development to market. Non-confidential abstracts can be submitted to OniX to be reviewed by OniX members.

What threads these three pillars of innovation together is partnerships – large and small, formal and informal. OniX blends online and offline communities to provide meaningful partnership opportunities for university faculty, researchers, startups, investors, foundations, and large local and multinational corporations to spur innovation.
OniX AI system uses machine learning, natural language processing, and other cognitive reasoning technologies to support the identification of new partners, new drug targets, and new potential uses for existing drug candidates. OniX brings together a unique set of public and non-public global data in an easy-to-use hub for the research community to stay informed on the latest technologies' advancements, and transform drug discovery to bring effective medicines to every patient.
Ideas submitted to the OniX hub are matched with members' targets of interest.
OniX's services accelerate and facilitates partnerships through a four-step process:
1) Describe Targets of Interest: Members areas/target of interest are entered in the OniX hub,
2) Identify potential targets: On a weekly basis, OniX provides e-alerts of new ideas/projects received. OniX matches ideas/projects from universities, incubators, accelerators, research parks, virtual biotech companies to members' areas of interest,
3) Provide additional information: For clients' opportunities of interest, OniX gets as much information as possible from the organization, researcher and company to accelerate the partnership. This allows members to make more informed decisions on which opportunities to pursue, and
4) Select partners: Finally, OniX makes the introductions for those opportunities of interest to accelerate partnerships.
OniX provides this full service to make it easier for clients to focus on the opportunities and to accelerate the transactions.
OniX accepts ideas from at any stage of development and from a wide spectrum of research, including: Health Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Agriculture, Animal Health, Energy, Space, Transportation, Climate Change, Food and Nutrition, Farming, Fisheries, Social Sciences, Public Health, Artificial Intelligence, Software/Hardware, and others. OniX partners with the global research community to support innovation.
Currently, OniX has over 1 millions ideas/projects that includes submitted, funded and unfunded research applications, technology transfer projects, intramural projects, startups, accelerators and biotechnology projects and projects that industry seeks to out-license.
